I've had the majority of the fairing cracks welded, had the pillion seat re-upholstered and added some extras like the tinted double bubble screen, heated grips, a kmh to mph speedo convertor and a set of stubby Titax levers from Graeme France. It's currently restricted (in the carbs) to 33 bhp. New chain and sprocket fitted in September last year. It and runs well with no misfires, coughs, splutters, missed gears or false neutrals. Engine has always run sweetly with no bangs or whines, just the lovely sounds of gear driven cams and the standard exhaust sounds pretty racy too. The bodywork isn't immaculate but it is a 20 year old bike. Odometer reads 51,551 and I fitted the speedo convertor at approx 49,405kms. Has passed all it's MOT's without a problem. MOT and Tax until September 2010. Only two reasons for sale - I have a neck and back problem which is exacerbated by the sports bike riding position and we are moving back to South Africa and we can't afford to take both our bikes with us and little point in taking "him" with in the hope that my back/neck problems improve.
